Karishma Enterprises and Braille World are a group of companies who have over the last several years made continuous efforts in creating awareness among the blind schools, NGOs and Visually Impaired people about the benefits of adopting the emerging technologies developed world wide to assist them in pursuing higher education, training in new skills / capabilities for better job placements or even for enhancing their independence and self reliance in their occupation or profession.
We are glad to introduce our website being the first of its kind in India on visual aids and appliances carrying a wide range of assistive devices from all over the globe. Our emphasis has been directed to promote and assist the blind student community in achieving a better quality of education with the help of these devices and give them a fair chance to compete with the sighted especially in today’s highly competitive environment due to the introduction of the Internet and Computers.
What the world sees today we bring to you at your doorstep simultaneously in India and neighbouring countries like Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, etc. Our group has the expertise and the experience for several years and are not only offering you the assistive devices but also support the same. Our services are backed by a team of well trained service engineers to take care of after sales service.
Karishma Enterprises is spearheaded by Mr. Ram Agarwal, CEO who has been instrumental in educating the Indian blind community of the benefits of assistive technology devices and inculcate a new found confidence among them that they can also learn and earn!
Karishma Enterprises has also successfully trained deaf blind students at the Helen Keller Institute for the deaf and deafblind, Mumbai in computers and it is very gratifying that one of the students, Zamir Dhale cleared his NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) exams and is now employed with Sense India International as Vice President, promoting the cause of the deafblind in Asia.
Our company has also conducted teacher training workshops for creation of master trainers in teaching computers to the visually challenged for the Rehabilitation Council of India, New Delhi.
Mr. Ram Agarwal was also nominated by Rehabilitation Council of India, New Delhi as a member of their expert technical committee to guide them about adoption of Assistive Technology across all disabilities.
